It is revealed to her by Edward that her curse is not about killing her in a year; instead, she will transform into another copy of Kyklos, the flower anomaly that cursed her. Edward guessed that Darkwick will likely kill her once she transformed or that she would be locked up in a cell just like Lyca Colt if Darkwick knew the truth.
